    Resolution on twin DVI cards

Bit confused here about resolutions with cards that have multiple outputs.

Take this card, for example, Sapphire 4670 with two dual-DVI outputs

    http://www.sapphiretech.com/uk/produ...gpid=253&grp=3

quote "The ATI Radeon HD 4600 Series GPUs can upscale video display to 2560x1600 on dual-link monitors which is almost twice the display resolution of 1080p displays."

Does that mean that EACH of the DVI links can output 2560x1600 or is that the TOTAL output from TWO DVI links?

If I had say two 30" screens (I wish!!) each with a res of 2560x1600 then could I run them both off this one card?

Just like to say that I'm only concerned about 2D display and not for gaming.

    thanks
