24" monitor help
Hey, im looking for a 24" monitor to replace a 19" one, it will mainly be used for image/video editing and general use so some good colour reproduction would be good. Budget isn't fairly extensive but if you could list some good options it would be much appreciated.
Cheers :D

Re: 24" monitor help
I would make sure you go for a PVA,MVA or preferably an IPS type panel for accurate colour repoduction, Make sure you go for an 8bit panel and NOT a 6 bit panel. I would not touch a TN type panel with a barge pole for colour accurate work.
I would go for the HP LP2475W as it has an H-IPS panel:

The other alternative is the Dell 2408WFP:

It has a S-PVA panel and hence I would think that the HP would be a better choice.
Even with these panels you should calibrate them.
I would also go for the Colorvision Spyder2 to calibrate the screen with:

If the 24" monitors cost too much there is the Dell 2209wa 22" screen which uses an e-IPS type panel for under £200:
