More expensive than some 4870's??
Whats up with that, you would have to be a fool to buy it
Why? Given that the HD47xx series are meant to run on 128bit GDDR5 I'd say Gainward have decided to just buy massive amounts of GDDR5 to get the best bulk savings they could, and now don't know what else to do with them!
I'd get a 4870 for the same price, personally: can't see a lot of point in this...
It doesn't exist on gainwards site, me thinks it's a typo?
Utter :O_o1: madness
Now, if it was £125-£130 it might have filled a niche....
It definitely seems like a real product, many sites are talking about it.....it's the "Goes like hell edition" hmmm....and is basically a 4870 underclocked by 50MHz lol
This could probably go into the "All time top 10 pointless exercises" ... got me thinking when a 4870 is a 4850 with high clock and GDDR5 so why bother?
