Quick Crossfire question.

Currently have a Powercolor 4870 1gb, if I want to add another 4870 would it be best to find the exact model I currently have, or would a Sapphire (for example) with the same clocks be okay?

Another with the same clocks is always best, although that can sometimes be tricky. Doesn't matter on the brand, although I'd get matching cards so it looks better.

Basically it will crosfire with any of the 48** series cards, and run at the speeds and with the memory of the lower card. So if you had a 4870 with a 4850 (both stock, and 512MB), each card will run at 4850 speeds, and 512MB memory each.

So to answer your question, you can crossfire it with any 4870 (or4850/4830), prefrably a 1GB one or you loose half of the frame buffer for the first card, and prefrably with the same speeds (tho not needed).
