Right after some testing out my card seems to be knackered and i'm looking to get a new one ASAP. Could you guys recommend one for me? It needs to be able to run on my 650W PSU with my Q6600 core 2 and 4 sticks of 1GB DDR2.
I do a fair bit of gaming on my PC and alot of 3D Apps work what could I get for about £100-£150?

The ones to look for are.... Ati 4850/4870/4890, they can be had for ~£110/£140 for 512mb or £160 for 1gb(better for higher res)/4890 was £160 on offer i think(search in bargins bit) Or you can go for a GTX 260 which are around £150 (you just missed out on an offer for £110 :P). What games do you playand at what resolution? This can give a better and more specific recommendation really.
I run 1920x1200 desktop and games. I play Half-Life 2, The odd spot of crysis, Teamfortress 2, Dawn of war 2..mostly use it for 3ds max and Maya
Yeah, a GTX260 or a ATI 4870 1GB I would think are your best bets.
I agree with Fraz then, 4870 1gb or the gtx but you could go for the 4890 as its a tad better afaik.
interesting so the ATIs are the place to be then? Last I heard the catalyst drivers were a pin and the ati display manager thing was apain.. all sorted then? i'm glad they managed to fight back against nvidia..i'll take a look on scan and see rough prices.

EDIT: theres a zotac gtx260 for £142 at ebuyer http://www.ebuyer.com/product/161967 good deal if you ask me.
How about £126 if you can stand a 192 core 65nm GTX 260.
