You will definitely need a 64 bit OS to use this card!!

    *Waits for the ridiculous price*

Seriously though, with the GTX 295 at £400, this will no doubt incur a hefty increase to at least £500, at which point you can buy two 4870X2 cards for a similar price.

Nonetheless, it's a real surprise and great innovation by Asus... should be a monster.

    Holy mackerel!

I'm amazed Asus have been allowed to do that... surely nVidia would have a thing or two to say about this card? My guess for the price is ~£600 - it's presumably going to be a very limited edition so they could charge pretty much whatever they like to be honest!

I would think that two seperate OC GTX 285 in SLi would be better as it will have better cooling.

Re: GTX295 card with dual GTX285 processors!!

I was watching Tigerdirect on youtube, apparently they are going to be somewhere in the region of $1000 a pop. If you think about it, the most expensive 295 on scan.co.uk is nearly £700 and that only has 1.8gb of RAM, and is nowhere near as slick looking !

Re: GTX295 card with dual GTX285 processors!!

I reckon Crysis 2 will run faster than Crysis. The next game from Crytek is going to be multiplatform, using Cryengine 3 (Far cry being 1, crysis being 2) so should be a breeze compared to Crysis if they can get it to run on PS3/Xbox 360.

To be slightly more on topic: I give it 2 days before some extreme guys have got it on some ridiculous liquid cooling and going after the 3Dmark records with 2 of them.

Lol. Just compare Far Cry 2 on PS3 and Far Cry 2 on PC. Both console versions looked like *** compared to the PC version (i owned it on 360). Limited to 720p, no anti-aliasing, it just looked awful.

I wouldn't even bother buying Crysis 2 on my 360 if my PC was good enough.
