    GPU = big difference
    CPU = smaller difference.

    You have a dual core conroe architecture CPU running at 2.5ghz.. you'll see a HUGE benefit in going from a 9500GT to a 4850 in anything 3d, like games.

    Your RAM is a bit low, but that won't hold back the graphics card in the slightest, just cause loading to take longer and be a bit stuttery.

    You will see a very big difference (more then double). The 9500GT is basically a re badged 8600GT which was a somewhat lame card.

    Re: I baught the 4850 but now im worried.

    I keep on encountering problems that i can run into, it says it requires two 6-pin connectors

    and also the size its 9inches i think the ram slots will get in the way.

    That's odd - most 4850s just have one.

    and also the size its 9inches i think the ram slots will get in the way.
    Again, highly unlikely unless you've got a very non-standard motherboard. If you're worried then take a picture of the motherboard and we'll tell you if it fits.

    AFAIK a 4850 only requires one 6-pin connector. A 4870 requires two.

    You are correct a standard 4850 is about 9 inches long. Why would the ram slots get in the way? What case and motherboard do you have?

    See - nice and sharp when you use a flash

    It looks like the ram won't get in the way at all - all that will happen is you won't be able to change the ram without first removing the graphics card.

    Yes that's right. The new card would extend alongside the ram retainers (white things) but as long as they are in the closed position it would not bump into them - on that side of the graphics card should just be blank PCB with nothing sticking out to clash.
