    Monitor

I need a new monitor, 20-23" I would say, on a budget of around £150-200, I'll be running it off a 4870 1gig but I'm not big into crysis or anything much too intensive. What are my best options? And where can I find thorough reviews?

    Dell 2209WA is a quality 22" 1680x1050 monitor at around £200.

    Re: Monitor

    Hey Holy,

You should definately check out the BenQ E2400HD, it is highly recommended in many forums. Plus for your budget range you could get a 24" monitor that is cheaper than the Dell 2209WA which is a great monitor, but it is 22 inches, is 16:10 instead of 16:9, and does not carry HDMI. I've personally used both before. I'll tell you that the Dell has a better viewing angle, but not by much. I think it's over-rated, and if you really want a good IPS panel, you'd spend much more to get a good one, not a low end one. 16:9 is also replacing 16:10 displays. You will see that there will be less and less 16:10 displays. 16:9 is definately future proof, plus it is Full HD, which is always nice = )

Some people complain that 22 inches is too small for 16:9 displays, but is perfect with 24 inch displays, so the E2400HD, would be nice.

    Re: Monitor

Holy, by the way, please don't take my word for it. Really.... I love my monitor a lot. If you don't believe my advice, go on google and just type in BenQ monitors. I promise you will find other people out there giving great reviews about the monitor and sharing their own personal experience about it.

As far as I know, BenQ has been in the Monitor industry for quite sometime, always offering similar prices or lower than their competitors. I'm sure you will enjoy their monitors if you give it a shot, but once again. Please don't take my word for it.
