Sorry guys i cant work out what one to go for.
Hope that someone here might have the same model and be able to give me some feedback....

The main difference is one is full HD (16:9), the other is the more standard 16:10 resolution. If it's for general use then 16:10 is a lot easier to get on with for viewing web pages and documents etc. The lower resolution of the 16:10 will also be easier on your graphics card, where as the 16:9 one will require a pretty powerful card if you want to play modern games. If you have blu-ray though the 16:9 will be better for watching HD movies on.
Noticed that a lot of people have been raving about the Dell 2209wa.

What do people think about the Dell?
It has an E-IPS panel which is better than the TN type displays which cheaper displays tend to use. If I had to get a monitor for under £250 it is the one I would get currently. IPS panels tend to have darker blacks and better viewing angles than their TN compatriots.Quote:

Dell high end (like that one you linked) are very good, however there cheaper dell models are not that good and not that cheap (but they normally only come as part of the cheap dell pc's)
If you can afford that Dell then I'd say yes good choise, although not so keen on the choise of e-tailer

I always use Scan, but this time Overclockers seem to work out a bit cheaper. £211
