    Using Catalyst Control Center Profiles

I've had NVidia cards since I bought my first PC and am used to the using the NV Control Panel to configure image settings ( AA & AF, etc) on a per application basis.

I've recently bought my first ATI card and am struggling with how to set up profiles. I've had a fiddle but it doesn't seem to work. I didn't need an instruction manual for NV Control Panel but CCC isn't quite so intuitive...

I've created a profile with the desired image quality settings but even when I load it manually before launching the game there is no evidence of it applying the settings to the game. In the 'profiles manager' dialogue there is an 'applications' tab with an option to assign an application to be opened when the profile is loaded. If this is how you are meant to apply image setting to a game it seemes completely illogical and arse about face.

Can someone clarify how CCC works or recommend how I can assign image settings that are applied automatically when I launch a game?

Re: Using Catalyst Control Center Profiles

Try checking all boxes under "the following settings", rather than using the "all catalyst settings" option. For some reason it doesn't always apply ALL the settings.

Another issue I have is the need to apply the same profile TWICE. When switching primary display for example, the first application of a profile changes primary display but leaves the resolutions/refresh rates screwed. The second application changes the resolutions/refresh rates as required.
