Re: Best graphics card for £100?

Depends what you think is best? Do you need it to run cool? Does it need to be quite?

Personally, for £100 i would get a GTS 250 Dark Knight, they have a great heatsink/fan on that, and you get great performance.

If you are not bothered by high temps or loud fans get a 4870.

    4870 is your best choice.

for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

Re: Best graphics card for £100?

Gainward GTX 260 216 GC from Scan for £109 free delivery.

40% gain for 10% cost increase over GTS 250

edit: Compared to the 4870 it's quieter, less power hungry, faster and has better drivers.

Also, almost all GTX 260s come with Batman: Arkham Asylum which is effing brilliant.

Re: Best graphics card for £100?

I have bought Dabs' reconditioned cards before:

    http://www.dabs.com/products/sapphir...efs=4294963788

    HD 4830 for £44 !
    - scroll to the bottom of the page for correct price.

You can still return it under the distance selling act.

I recommend testing it heavily once it arrives and if it is no good return it within 7 days.
