    component cable splitter

right, basically i have my PS3 and 360 both connected to my 2407wfp through component but it only has one outlet so have to keep unplugging the 360's component cables to plug in the PS3's

is there a component splitter that can basically have both red outputs from the consoles into the monitor at once but only have one console on at a time which would be Much easier and so much less of a PITA?

edit: i need more of whether these will work to a high quality and not really reduce the picture quality so first hand use would be helpful!

This should do the job for you. It's not cheap but I'd expect it to make no noticeable difference to the picture quality

Or, why dont you just use a VGA adaptor for 360, job done.

    You want one of these:

Not cheap, but excellent. No degredation in the video signal at all, and Mr J.S. himself repaired mine free of charge when it went belly up.

I might even sell mine if you're interested in one, as it currently sits on a shelf doing nothing.

have you tried these on a monitor as im a bit worried about this auto switching thing.. (don't think it will work on a monitor)

I've not tried on a monitor I'm afraid though it should still work fine, as the monitor won't think the signal has changed, it will just be the switcher that does the hard work - I assume.

Also, are you likely to have both consoles on at once? I assume not, so the priority switching shouldn't be an issue even.

FYI, the reasons it's doing nothing are:

    1. Dropped my PS2 ages ago, so went back to only having one component device
    2. Have now bought an AVR with 3 in/1 out component switching so have no need for it.

Will drop you a PM in a bit about the item itself.
