    My 3DMark 2001Se Score Is Cr*p

    Hi all today i received my new equipment

    Abit IC7-Max3 Mobo
    3.0 (800fsb P4)
    1GB Corsair PC4000 Pro TwinX
    Asus Radeon 9800XT
    2 WD 120GB and 1 160GB
    Sound Blaster Audigy
    Antec TrueBlue 480Watt Psu

    I have now just ran 3DMark 2001 and i got 11090!!!! now is it jsut me or is this really rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbish*?

    Can anyone tell me what i need to do to get this to normal ? all drivers are up to date.

    yep, although i dont know why. i have a similar system spec and i get 19000

    now i wonder wtf is up wit my com :S i was getting same score wit 512 pc3200 ram and 2.2 athlon xp. if anyone can help me with this it would be great. thanx all!

    hmm thats wierd, try uninstalling your gfx card drivers totally and reinstalling them

    Is this rite? i shouldnt have to reinstall drivers as its a clean install with latest catalysts.

    Latest version of Direct X
    Latest Catalyst Drivers
    Latest version of 3d mark 2001 SE
    No FSAA or AF are selected, and you are running 1024x768

    have you turned the quality in the settings to 'high performance'?

    Double check ATI drivers are set to defaults and you are not forcing AA or AF settings. You say it benched at 11000 in your previous XP system. Is that XP2200+ or XP @ 2.2 ie 3200+ either way it seems low. 9800np here on XP @ 2.1 score 16000.

    i just got a score of 17,550. is that about rite? or should it be higher. im going to run 2003 now to see how it does. thanx guys
