"Display corruption is no longer seen when playing the demo version of the game Far Cry"

    Yay!

I hope this fixes the weird display bugs I have been getting when I enable AA at any level in this demo

I havent noticed anything wrong in the full game, except I cant take screenshots in dx9 games - same with all the other drivers, not tryed these new ones yet though.(keyboard only works for the foreground app ).

Farcry should look bloody good on your comp, much like it does on mine.

I don't think the fixlog really justifies me updating personally but yeah, seems they're keeping to their promise of monthly updates. Shame the driver needs re-writing from scratch with an average of 1MB-4MB increase in package size with each release.

I can run the Far Cry demo at 1280x1024x32 with "Very High" settings across the board and medium AA and it's super slick!

I hope the full game I ordered arrives soon as I keep finding myself firing up the demo to snipe more bad guys heh

Far Cry runs very well on my PC and it's a lot lower spec than yours, But the Demo didnt work that well

But if you're PC is running the demo so fast well then just wait for the full game!! its so much faster than the demo

Thanks for the heads up, will give then a try. (Touch Wood) havent really had any problems with ATI's drivers. True what LayZeh said, they do really need to work from the ground up, insted of fix driver by program faults.

if they did that then we;d have less releases and probably more bugs as there would be a new program every time..
    just my oppinion...

I only saw display corruption on the last level but one on Far Cry ( I completed it yesterday woot!) and I am still running 3.9's, maybe I should upgrade

I'll wait for the Omega's. As I understood it, the Omega's were better for real life gaming, but slower for benchmarks, like 3D Mark 2003.

I downloaded them, and my 2003 score went up by 180 marks. Also got rid of Power Strip and used the in-built OCing stuff.

    Very impressed all round.
