    Which graphics card to get?

    First post! Woop!

A while ago I had a 4870 1GB but it went wrong and had to RMA it, so I've been using my old 4650 in the meantime and it can't even play Mirrors Edge with any kind of AA (Mirrors Edge without AA looks pretty terrible), so yeah, I need a new one.

I want a new card that'll run games well, will be future proofed for a while, but won't be bottle-necked too much by the rest of my hardware. I was thinking about getting a 5850, but I don't know which one for starters, the best looking one, the Asus one (the 3 year warrenty and voltage increase), doesn't seem to exist anywhere, I haven't seen it in stock anywhere. Will the rest of my system bottleneck a 5850 at all? or vise-versa?

I can afford to spend up to about £210 (£135 of which I got back from RMAing my 4870).

The HD5850 is the card to get even if you have to wait a few weeks to get the one you want.

Re: Which graphics card to get?

Me agrees with above posts, as it's miles cheaper than the 5870.
