Wow, strange result with these. Had been trying out a 64mb 9500 which didn't appear to mod on previous omega drivers and scored just over 10k on 3d2k1. Used these and tried the mod again and although nothing appeared to change score went up up to just under 13k. Either I did something wrong before or these are better at modding the card?
Right, will run 3D Mark (2003) before and after, see if there is any change. Just running now before I download them...
Right, 6175 with the old Omega's. Getting the new one's and testing now...
6169 with the new drivers. No real change then.
They're not really going to get any faster as the omegas are for increasing image quality and to fix some problems that dont get fixed in the catalyst drivers, they also are for overclocking and softmodding.
Supposedly they are better for smoother gameplay but do not score as high as the catalysts normally do.

just installed them and the n-force refined driver pack and my 3dmark score dropped by 4000 marks
Methinks its my dodgy xp install, guess i get the fun of re-installing again
It's probably the AGP driver just re-install the nforce drivers again (in safe mode to be sure), perhaps the ATI drivers overwrited themOriginally Posted by Wurzel
