Depends what you mean by release, also ;)
Well from that the top end gtx380 is coming out, if it does then at least we'll know the others will follow.
The 340 and 350 are the possible cards I'm intrested in atm.
Looking solely at the numbers the 340 should perform arpund the level of the 275 but with far lower power demands.
Well I just returned a 5850 (for a credit note awaiting the 300 series release).
I only play MMO's and though EQ2 ran fine, battleground europe froze after a min or two. Having one of the two I do play not working wasn't good enough for me.
I'm now eagerly awaiting news of the 300 series as I'd rather wait and get a dx11 card.
I had problems with ATI cards in games years back when I had my 9600xt, I've had no problems with my 8800GTX so I'll stick with Nvidia in future I think.
Disclaimer: This is just my own experiences with Gcards, so no need for abuse from ATI fans. ;)
F'sure.
You bring the silicon, I'll bring the beer !
It's was one of the 2 MMO's I play, it's getting a big graphics overhaul shortly and the card upgrade was to handle the updated graphics.
Yeah I used to work for them and they have always been great with my new PC's. I had my last 3 PC's from there and will likely get future ones too.
I was getting odd, very short duration freezes in windows as well, but not all the time and not in other games.
I've just seen an article today saying that the CEO of Nvidia has said they will only start shipping the GT300 cards in the first quarter of 2010.

Late Jan 2010 to April
Even the pro-NVIDIA site Fudzilla reckon it won't be until next year too:

In short - the A2 die spin was not successful and it will have to have a third before it hits retail, hence the delay. No doubt a handfull of A2 parts will be used for press samples though.
Where Rollo when you need him? :D
TBH,I am more interested in the sub £250 parts as this is what is most relevant for the vast majority of people.
