    GTS 250 fan control

I picked up a Gainward GTS 250 Green Edition, the fan runs at about 70% on startup which was strange but in Windows it drops to 35% and seems to stay there even when gaming which is good.

Unfortuntely when my computer goes to sleep it goes back up again... rather annoying because i usually don't turn my PC off.

Is it possible to flash these cards with a different BIOS?

    Re: GTS 250 fan control

You might try installing the latest Nvidia system tools, which has an option to over-ride the automatic fan speed control and set your own speed regime. I am not sure if it will work when the computer is in sleep mode, but its got to be worth a try before flashing BIOS's.
