Thoughts on these...
I need a new PSU, the one im currently running is by Trendsonic (read: unbranded) and obviously id be doing myself a favour getting a decent one. Ive eyed this Antec one up and seems a bargain for the price, spec and make.
PSU
Im also after a CPU cooler and possibly a GFX cooler. Ive been looking at this Akasa CPU cooler - but someone was crucifying it in a thread somewhere on here :( And Scan don't seem to do the Arctic cooling GTX 260 cooler anymore and instead sell a Thermalright one w/o a fan - so thoughts on that as well. TY x :rockon2:

Re: Thoughts on these...
PSU looks good :)
Personally I'm sure I'd have no issues mounting the Akasa AK-CC017 Freedom, it looks very simular to the CM hyper 212+ I got.
I've done a test mounting on that and had no issues, although I've not had it running yet (I'm still short DDR3)
As to gpu cooler . . . which card do you currently have? if it's not the stock cooler then the pcb could be custom as well which could lead to issues fitting 3rd party coolers (and remember that you'll probably invalidate the warranty.)

Re: Thoughts on these...
It seems that the 750W version of the Antec PSU is a budget Seasonic unit:

BTW,most of the reviews seem to be for the older version of the unit.

Re: Thoughts on these...
Its (i assume) a reference design, standard clocked no frills Asus offering - performance isn't bad mind :P

After reading the review johnny seems to think favourable of it ?
