But should I get the Dell Ultrasharp 2209WA with its E-IPS Panel or go for greater real estate on the Dell G2410 (which looks to be nicer than the Dell ST2410)?
The other monitors I looked at were the Samsung 2443NW because of its 1900x1200 resolution and the HP LP2475w. In the end I decided I couldn't justify spending £400 on the latter, and the PC Buy It Warranty won the day for Dell.
Now my main uses will be web surfing, games and DVD movies (not Blue Ray yet, but it's probably not too far off). My card is a 4870 OC. Given that the 24" are both 1900x1080 I'm edging towards the 2209WA. I don't need the viewing angles, but then as the monitor is only 2½' away from me I probably don't need 24" either.
Anyone have any of the mentioned monitors?
