The title says it all really. I am looking to get a HD5850 for xmas but i cant find anyplace that have them in stocks, so if anybody knows of a place that have them in stock can you please tell me.

Phone Dell, that's who's hording them atm. To be honest, you'd be better off holding onto your money and wait for the stock to stabilise around January or February. The price of the HD5870 might even come into your budget.
novatech had them yesterday, but at £250 :/ i guess they will have gone by now though.. you just gotta check the usual suspects a few times a day and one will come up

I am tempted, but to be honest I am gonna hold out for the 28nm revision. Due to all these supply issues it is already like buying a 2.5 month old GPU.

Scan have both 5850's and 5870's in stock of the XFX variety at time of writing, in XXX and standard versions.
Extortionately priced. The wholesale cost (to SCAN from XFX) of this is somewhere in the region of £160.
Basically, if you do not want to pay the additional 40-50 quid "over the top markups" that people are slapping on the prices, order from dabs.com and wait for stock. The availability is getting better.
