    Dual monitor and hdtv

    Hey guys

MY current set up is a powercolor 4870 powering 2 dell 20 inch screens.

I want to be able to plug my HDTV into my pc as well so that I can watch films on that if needed. THe problem is this graphics card only seeing to have s-video out.

WHat graphics card can I get that will allow me to power the 2 monitors and my hdtv.

I dont want to be spending crazy money on it.

    CHeers

Any of the 5 series ati cards, but you'll need a costly Displayport adapter too. Or do you plan on adding a second card? If so I'll let someone else offer advice on that.

The cheapest option would be a hdmi switch. Manual ones go for ~£10.

Displayport connectors are £10 on ebay so that would be better than the HDMI switch.

    Re: Dual monitor and hdtv

If you want to power 2 monitors *and* an HDTV via HDMI off one graphics card you would need a 5000 series graphics card plus a rather costly active DP - HDMI (or DVI) adaptor.

But since your DFI X48 mobo has a spare PCIe x16 slot you could just get a cheap secondary graphics card with HDMI output: something like this HD4350 would work fine
