HD5570 single slot low profile version review
Here is a review of the HD5570:
http://www.silentpcreview.com/ati-5450-5570
It is bus powered, low profile, has a single slot cooler and has similar performance to a HD4670. However load power consumption is much lower.
Also the GTS250 low profile card is also available:

However it requires a PCI-E power connector and has a double slot cooler.
Re: HD5570 single slot low profile version review
Yes but the gts250 has decent performance, remember that's 5570 not 5750
As seen the 4670 is beating the 5570.
Still it'll make a nice HD media card for a small form factor.
Shame neather the 5570 or 5450 support eyefinity, that would of made them great as a low impact, 3 monitor desktop solution.
Re: HD5570 single slot low profile version review
If you have a prebuilt SFF system such as those from Acer the HD5570 is an ideal card.
The fact that the GTS250 or HD5750 are not bus powered are going to be a limitation in such situations as these PCs tend to lack a PCI-E power connector.
29W under load is excellent for the HD5570 and HD4670 level performance is still good game for gaming at 1280x1024.
TBH,I think ATI should release a low profile single HD5750 too.

AFAIK they do, don't they? The Hexus review certainly says so, and this XFX 5450 has a DisplayPort output and claims to support Eyefinity...
EDIT: Hmm, just finished having a proper read of the review at lunchtime. The 5570 really is a pretty impressive card, and if it can make it into UK etailers @ £50 I might forgive ATI the high price on the 5670. I've been considering building a LAN box in an old AOpen low profile case I've got - the GTS250 was interesting but would stretch the meager 250W PSU the case comes with. No such worries for the 5570... :D
Thanks ATI - now I have to fund the rest of a low-end gaming rig *sigh*
