The LP2475W is EOL, its replacement is the ZR24W.

It is a shame, as the 'replacement' does not appear to be as competent, by all accounts
I also figured that the LP2475 was my next monitor - when i finally managed to scrape together sufficient pennies ! - but have the Dell U2410 in my sights as backup
    Main: i5 2500K, AsRock Extreme4 Z68, 8GB Vengeance, Enermax Infiniti, 5850 1GB
    Toys: Cowon J3 32GB, DIR-655, PS3 Slim, HTC Desire, HDC-SD1, Slingbox, Synology DS109j, Asus Transformer + dock

I'm not sure what you mean by that, but apparently it's reverted to a standard sRGB gamut, which means it should be mercifully free of the LP2475W's neon reds and greens in non-colour-managed apps (which is most of the content you'll be viewing).

The two-tone bezel is a bit of a downer though - to my eyes at least it looks cheap and nasty, and I can imagine it will look even more messy when the panel is illuminated.

If colour are even remotely important you'll have a calibrated monitor anyway, using a tool like a Spyder 3 Pro.
