    BFG pulls out of Europe

It had been rumoured that some of NVIDIA's partners had been struggling over the last 12 months and now it seems that there was some truth to that rumour with BFG Tech pulling out of Europe.

    http://www.fudzilla.com/content/view/18182/1/

Sad for us the consumer - I found BFG exceptionally helpful and their products came with the longest guarantee. RMA's to the US now?

Re: BFG pulls out of Europe

Supplied me with both of my nVidia cards, my favourite partner by far. EVGA now I guess, but they always charged too much for me to consider them.

    Sad day

Indeed a shame. BFG were good, and the less the competition, the worse for us

Re: BFG pulls out of Europe

If I was going to buy an nVidia card it would of been BFG only. Due to the manufacturer RMA service being based in Wales, and the continual stories of upgraded cards being provided for older models.

just the fact they had a company in wales that dealt with RMA's was enough for me to use them, the fact the company didnt have a bloody clue was another story but they did jump through hoops when they shipped me a duff refurb water cooled GTX280 and sent another wihtout collecting the RMA 1st !

i think the fact they forgot to place me on hold while insulting me had a part to play with it as well

no wonder they pulled the contract with that bunch of morons

You would have thought so, although if Charlie is right, apparently for every 20 Fermi cards the AIB maker orders they have to order 80 of the 200 series cards:

If the AIB is not making enough money on the 2xx cards, the extra fermi sales probably aren't enough to swing it.
