Re: Asus 5850 Installation
If I have understood the situation correctly,
The Molex to PCI-E is just in case your PSU doesnt have the two feeds required by the card, in your case its redundant. You can just use the two 6 pin connections from your PSU, and leave the connector in the box!
Some PSU's will have the required 12v output, but come with just one 6pin conector, or even none at all. Including the connector increases the compatability of the card.
Re: Asus 5850 Installation
Thanks for the reply, just need the two 6 pin to 6 pin pcie cables then.
Re: Asus 5850 Installation
Yep, If you had a newer HX620w should of come with two 6pin+2pin cables for graphics cards
The additional 2pins are detachable from the plug you just need to pulg the main 6pin end in and tuck the additional 2pin section out of the way.
If you had the original HX620w then it will just have 6pin pci-e cables

Re: Asus 5850 Installation
I couldn't find any 6 pin by 6 pin pci-e cables for sale anywhere and I only have one so I contacted Corsair for some replacement cables.
