Nvidia GTX465 preview with benchmarks from xbitlabs

It seems to be around the same speed as a GTX275 and is also slightly cheaper than an HD5850:

reading through that it looks like a card to challenge the 5830
both are binned version gpu's, with lackluster performance and around the same cost.

I really don't know if the frankly brilliant g92 gpu (lets face it, it was and still is one of the great gpu's) made nvidia too complacent or raised our expectations of graphics cards too high (for low cost+performance)
I think I've been underwhelmed by almost every gpu since.

The HD5770 1GB is overpriced IMHO. It were around £100 for the reference versions then it would be decent value but it tends to be more expensive.

I really hope that the HD5770 1GB is replaced with a faster card in a similar price range and power consumption range this year.
