replacement heat sink for ati 4350 pcie x1

i have one of these in my rig but the heat sink is covering the last pcie slot on my mobo and i need it back.

    http://forums.legitreviews.com/about25351.html

is there any active/passive heat sink i could replace it with so i could get the last slot back on my mobo.

I highly doubt there is an aftermarket single slot cooler and even if there is there is an extremely high chance of it not fitting a 4350

Actually there's a few, esp if you have space above the card.

Scan have got a couple of the older Thermalright coolers on Clearence atm

Other alternative would be to get a copper low profile server type heatsink and mod it to fit.

i did find some that will fit but still to big.

    http://www.arctic-cooling.com/catalo...ath=2_&mID=105

looks like i might have to mod something to fit, or take a hacksaw to the one i have but id need to take about 12mm of the top to free up the slot under it.

or if i take of about 22mm off i could put a fan on whats left, but that's not much.

think ill get a second hand one before i butcher the one i have and try it with that, if i can find one that is.
