ATI technology demo's

Does anybody else download the ATI graphics demos?

I just started grabbing them all - I ran the 9700 Animusic Demo on my 9600 Pro - ran great and wow, what a piece of work!

Just curious about the demos for X800. I dont see anything about real-time. So I assume the Double Cross video took much longer than real-time to generate the video. B/c it says something about created using motion capture technology.

Also, do you know if you can run ATI screensavers, like the Gargoyle time clock on an Nvidia card.

I do now....but the first EVER for Radeon (yup, I owned the first ever Radeon 64 mb DDR) Demo was PANTS :(

However....the coolest thing is...most nVidia ones work just as well on an ATI :)

Yup, and you can also do the same on the supposed nvidia only tree nymph demos on ATi hardware, only with them looking better and running faster ;)

I have the real time Double Cross Demo.

Unfortunately it uses pixel shaders that are only supported by the X800, so it won't run.
