Will this card... In this rig... Run this HD monitor...?

A friend needs to know if this processor/card will run this 22" monitor:

Processor & Memory:

AMD Athlon™ II X2 240 Processor (2.8GHz)
2MB Cache
4GB DDR3 SDRAM at 1066MHz (2 x 2GB)

Graphics & Video:

Integrated ATI Radeon HD4200 Graphics

My friend will be using this set up for old simple games and general comp use.

a bit of extra info about *which* old games he'll be playing would help - the HD4200 isn't the fastest graphics chip in the world and "old" covers a lot of games these days! 1080p is a high resolution so it really will depend on the games in question...

pre-2005 ...games will generally be fine (although some may test this...Half Life 2 with full details and max eye candy etc. which probably struggle at 1920x1080)

after 2005...games will generally struggle (although some will still run acceptably)

As a massively over-simplified but generally accurate rule of thumb.
