looking for 2 monitors 1920x1200 for eyeinifty

    Hi guys

Im looking for 2 monitors to go with my BenQ 24'' (1920x1200) and since I need multi-monitors for coding and other tasks, im tempting to 2 more at same resolution for eyefinity.

    Any recommendations?

Im hoping to spend around £500 for them and one preferable with built-in displayport.

    Cheers

24" monitors with 1920 x 1200 resolution are a thing of the past unfortunately, especially at the price you are looking for.

The only ones i can see are made by Dell, and they cost around £400 each.

Re: looking for 2 monitors 1920x1200 for eyeinifty

Samsung do a couple of TN monitors at 1920x1200 but a google search suggests they're likely to hum. Otherwise 1920x1200 is the domain of the IPS screen - and it comes at a price. Plus they're not as responsive for gaming, though the Dell U2410 is better than most in this respect*. HP also have a similar IPS but slower response time, though not an extended colour gamut so some people prefer it for non-photoediting purposes.

Let me know how you get on, I'm still searching for a decent 1920x1200 24" which I can actually afford and which doesn't buzz.

*edit: but it can be hit-and-miss with colour imbalances across the screen either pink or green, again a google search will give more info on this.

Re: looking for 2 monitors 1920x1200 for eyeinifty

Unfortunately 1920x1200 has been ousted in favour of 1920x1080 for normal monitors. 1920x1200 is now the domain of high-end monitors, so you'd be looking at more like £500 each instead of £500 for the pair. Eyefinity is expensive

Re: looking for 2 monitors 1920x1200 for eyeinifty

i had this same problem finding a cheap 24 monitor to go with my two dells and went for a hp zr24w for £350 in the end.

cheapest one i could find with display port and have had not one problem using it with eyefinity.

Re: looking for 2 monitors 1920x1200 for eyeinifty

My original plan was to get one HP LA2405wg 24'' with displayport at ~£260 and get another 24'' with 1920x1200 but the price for even TN panel for this one still £200+, more like £233 region. So the total is around £500.

Now I reconsider my option, if I buy one 23" Dell Ultrasharp U2311H as it comes with displayport at price of £263 and its I-SPN panel. Then I can just get 2 more monitors at 1920x1080 for say around £250-£300. I pay a bit more but I got more monitors to choose from (!!!) and I get one I-SPN monitor.

That is the new plan so Im still looking around

Re: looking for 2 monitors 1920x1200 for eyeinifty

I have been searching around for my new "plan" and i came up with this for now:

    2 x 23" LG W2361V
    23" Dell Ultrasharp U2311H
    Total: £578

+£24 will get me a pair of 23" Dell S2309W instead of LG W2361V but they seems to have an array of blast of review from ebuyers website.

Seems reasonable to me, i feel.

That adapter is from newegg lol. I dont think they ship to UK?! Plus I dont feel like I want to use the adapter... it just dont feel right to me, I can't really explain it.

    Cheers
