    3d

I use my pc for allsorts of stuff, but when it comes to games I only play Battlefield Bad Company II these days. At the moment my system comprises of a Maximus II Formula board with an Asus EAH4870 Dark Knight graphics card and this enables me to play on maximum graphics settings. I'd like to go 3D though and so I've got a few questions.

1, Has anyone tried Bad Company II in 3D and is it any good?

2, What 3D ready Nvidia card is available for under £200 thats at least as powerful as my current card?

3, Whats the best 3D ready monitor available thats under £300?

    1. Sorry not tried it, but I think there are websites which show how well implemented the 3d effect is for each game

    2. A tall order - as 3d will requires two images for each frame, you'll need to double the base FPS to get the same 3D fps. Perhaps the GTX470 will be closest in terms of price/performance.

    3. Currently it's the Acer GD245HQ: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/236-a...0-800001-120hz

    Re: 3d

Yeah, I've seen that, but I think its early days for AMD. Think it'll take them a while to catch up in 3D. Saying that the EAH4870 that I've got at the moment was bought about 2 years ago and I've still never found a game that I can't run the graphics in full yet, so I am impressed with AMD.
