The GTX580 looks similar in speed to an HD5970 but has lower power consumption than a GTX480.

They pulled a Guru3D and are using old drivers, and the negative points in the SLI review is nothing but shoddy journalism;

The SLI performance is very impressive... but so much power consumption, wow... That's my entire 520w psu almost.

From what i can remember the GTX 580 is faster in BC2 & AvP than everything else including the 5970. 226W power draw and max temp of 86c.
Relatively good overclocker.
