Portable Projector for dual monitor setup?
Hey everyone!
I have been wondering if anyone else have ever tried to use a projector for a dual monitor setup. Most of you may think its useless since with projectors it has to be dark, but with some projectors you could get away with a half decent picture with some lights on. The perk of a portable projector as a monitor is that I could take it with me where ever I go. If no one has tried it I feel like I should just take the leap of faith and try it out. I was going to try it out with the aaxa tech m2, micro projector since my friend has one already, so no point in buying one if it's not feasible.
But if anyone else has any ideas/suggestions, I'm all ears.
Re: Portable Projector for dual monitor setup?
1) Something tells me you're working for this company.
2) This would not be the best forum to advertise about your lousy projector
3) I actually do know a fair bit about projectors and honestly 110 lumens EVEN if it was RGB LED would not do well in a lit or fairly lit condition let alone project a large display.
4) As far as micro projectors go, in all seriousness they are for fun and not for real practicality. I understand a lot of you (probably 80% working for those companies making outlandish claims) claim that you have had genuine experience with the projector and that you can do presentations with it. NO, just stop. I am a projector owner as well, and no you cannot do presentations with 110 even 200 lumens as in legit presentation environments it would be absolutely too bright to use such low output projectors.
If you do not work for this company, then I highly advise you to not buy this projector. For that price you can get a 2nd hand Epson, BenQ, Sony, or whatever (some of their lower end business projectors) that will outperform this toy projector. Handheld projectors are great, the concept that is, unfortunately the technology is far from being practical. I suggest you save your cash and stay away from such, UNLESS it's for fun. Either way I have played with 100 lumen LED projectors and they are decently bright for size, price and weight ratio, but all I'm saying is there is no way they are in any way adequate or comparable to a real business projector.
