I'm looking on the Post Office website now and 'recorded signed for' seems suitable enough but then doesn't actually say it covers parcels on the product page :/
Ideally i don't want to be forking out over £5 for delivery yet still want something more respectable than 2nd class.

for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
Just take the parcel to the post office, say you want "signed for",and put your parcel on the scales. They'll tell you the price and you can accept or not.

Recorded does cover parcels but be aware i think its only covers upto £35 for insurance purposes unless you pay extra for more.

Whenever I sell items online I either use Royal Mail recorded delivery or http://www.parcel2go.com/ (the latter you can choose who to send your parcel with and have it picked up from wherever you specify, very handy).

If the card is worth over £50 I would use Special Delivery especially if it is an Ebay sale. It is a guaranteed delivery service unlike Recorded Delivery.
