    And the Radeon 68xx
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

Re: The HD6950 is unlockable to an HD6970?!

Yeah, before this it was the 465 to 470.
Before that though it has been an awful long time.

This is a very neat idea, especially as there is the back-up second firmware so its still a useable regular 6950 if you dont manage to unlock it.

Re: The HD6950 is unlockable to an HD6970?!

I didnt think the 6850 could be unlocked. All i could find is that the 6950 could be, but the 6850 couldn't. If you've found info to say otherwise i'd love a link so i could check it out.

Re: The HD6950 is unlockable to an HD6970?!

The card is a little above mainstream. Is it worth the splash?

Has anyone here had success with unlocking one? Did it make a big difference?

Re: The HD6950 is unlockable to an HD6970?!

I haven't tried. My current system doesn't need upgrading.
However - if I was building now, I would get a 6950 and try. If it fails, there's a backup BIOS anyway.

    Or possibly Atari.
