False Advertisement POV GTX570 Beast
Hi I ordered a POV GTX570 Beast from scan, I ordered on Wednesday and when I ordered the card in the picture had a prefitted aquagraphx waterblock and in the description it said "Cooling: Watercooling", So I thought smashing I'll have a watercooled graphics card and my warranty.
Today I took delivery of my GTX570 but was horrified to see a GTX570 with no waterblock (reference design cooler).
I go to there website and now the picture is gone and under cooling it now says "Fan"
WTF... This is BS to the max!
So what can I do about it?
BTW I've called scam and they said they would E-mail me when they've had a chat with the manager.
Happy new year
Re: False Advertisement POV GTX570 Beast
iNoXious,
On looking into this further I can confirm that there seems to have been some confusion with this item and it was advertised as Watercooled in error.
The manufacturers part number on the website as always been correct therefore it was an error on our system for which I apoligise for.
The price anyone paid for the card was the correct price for the non watercooled version, however if you wish to return the card then please contact our returns team and they shall arrange collection of the card for you.
The SCAN website has now been amended therefore the image and the overview is now correct.
Regards,

Actually carl, just had a look on the website and the picture for that card is still showing it with a watercooling block attached. Might want to get someone onto it in the new year before its forgotten or some more irate customers may appear.

'Tis a shame as I was going to grab one of these. Strange thing is, the pics from the Point of View website are the same;

except that it is a TGT-570-A1-1280-BST-W
