    Crossfire Question

Hey all basically gonna Xfire 5850's but as the ones i have dont come with a xfire bridge i am going to have to purchase one off ebay. The question is with this SB motherboard would a 7.5 cm bridge be fine or would i need a 10cm one?

    Re: Crossfire Question

If the you can get a flexible bridge is flexible i would get the 10cm one just to be safe...or wait and measure it

Do motherboards not usually come with required xfire/SLi bridges?

    Re: Crossfire Question

Some graphics cards do come with Crossfire bridges, the same goes for mainboards, but not all. So that seems to be the case with goates. You would be best measuring everything up just to make sure it all physically fits together.

    Re: Crossfire Question

It use to be the case that you would get an SLi bridge with your motherboard and the Xfire bridge came with the graphics card.

    Re: Crossfire Question

I've only ever got SLI bridges with my motherboards, and since I only use Nvidia that is fine for me
Go for the flexible ones if you can, much more practical in the long run for if/when you change the motherboard.
But in this case as someone else said, measure the distance to be sure!
