I would say so (judging by the fact that new ones are £280 ish) however you can also get FX5900XT for less (around £130) and overclock it to similar levels?

If you bear in mind the new cards are coming out that may push FX5950 down a bit further maybe.

I havent been following the last stages of the fx5xxx vs 9800xxx war but wouldnt a 9800pro/xt be faster? at around £130..

Imo wait for the new cards, prices aint dropping as much now, but they should drop a bit more before the gf6 and x800s are released fully.

Get a gainward FX5900XT (anyone but the 1100Xp one) and flash the BIOS with a FX5950 one. Works flawlessly.
