I recently come in possesion of a Asus Extreme EN7800 GT Special Edition, I am lead to belive these were extreme overclocking cards although very power hungry. has any one got one of these or had one that can give me some stories or advise.

I would say just have some fun with it.
Whilst the 7800 was good in its day, a modern & quite cheap GT220 should soundly beat it so you aren't risking much.
