Best 32" TV as PC monitor.
hey
looking to get a new TV between 26" and 32" as it will be used as a PC monitor too, was just wondering if there are any tv's particularly good as PC monitors. It will also be used for gaming on a 360.
Budget is up to 300 quid.
I'd also be interested in any recommendations of any good monitor/tv's at around 23 or 24 inchs.
Cheers.
Re: Best 32" TV as PC monitor.
Main thing is to make sure it's a 1080p not an older 720p
I've always like Hanns Spree for good low cost TV's http://www.ebuyer.com/product/229958
(HannsSpree is the TV arm of HannsStar (pc monitor arm is HannsG) and they are one of the companies that actually make lcd panels)
Re: Best 32" TV as PC monitor.
i wouldnt use a tv as a monitor. the text clarity is shockingly bad and thereis a reason why 9/10 people use proper pc monitors then tv's for there pc's
if all your doing on your pc is watch movies and games then it should be fine. but for web browsing, word docs and all the other general pc usages. forget it

The OP could get a 27" monitor and use a TV tuner card in their PC.
There are a few 27" monitors under £300:

Umm, I've used a TV as a monitor for years and never found it to be a problem. 1080p and low response time is all that's needed.
The panel in my tele is better than the one I've got in my monitor, and my monitor isn't bad neither.

Re: Best 32" TV as PC monitor.
Are there any other real options besides a TV if I want a 1920x1080/1200 in the 30-35" size range? Also would people say that getting an LED back light display is better than a normal back light?
Re: Best 32" TV as PC monitor.
Cool. But I already bought a 26" TV. What can I do :-(
