    I just bought a 6850 :)

    As per the title really!
    Am now waiting for the lovely Scan guys to ship it!
    Will post my experiences and review at some point.

    The ASUS one in the end - it's the cheapest that Scan sells at £144, but what really attracted me was the SPCR review (am currently on my iPhone, links are a pain). I like the idea of stock, over or maybe even under-volting it and seeing what the noise and wattage use is like.
    The one thing I noticed is that it has heatpipes and the extra power connector above, which I will have to consider when I eventually get a new case, but otherwise I'm very excited.
    I will post my usual before and after benchmarks etc.

    Was pleased to see that you didn't got for the MSI one. I had one of those and it was an awful steaming pile of terd.

    Anyway hows the Asus working out for you ?

    Behemoth I am looking at the msi one as it is the cheapest reference pcb 6850 I can find ... what is wrong with it?
