    Upgrade from GTX275?

I'm interested in upgrading my card to play Crysis 2, get a bit more FPS in large fights in SC2 and probably for Battlefield 3. (1920x1200)

Any ideas what I can do?

I suppose a budget of £200 is realistic, but can stretch for something special.

I estimate I can get about £80 for my current card.

Well your 275 looks roughly comparable(ish) to a 4870, so start from here http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/304?vs=330

    A 560 would be a nice upgrade

Should be a shade under the 285. £80 maybe on ebay but the 460 768mbs are starting to go for that amount on forums.

    6950 (unlock) bandwagon?

    Re: Upgrade from GTX275?

If you don't mind the huge power consumption you can get a GTX480 for around £200:

    http://www.scan.co.uk/shop/computer-...28480-cores%29

    http://www.overclockers.co.uk/produc...914&subid=1750

You can get a 10% discount on the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 480 "Special Edition" which is only valid until tomorrow:

    http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/sho...php?t=18253176

This means the card will be around £200.

Here is a review of the SOC version of the same card:

    http://www.guru3d.com/article/gigaby...80-soc-review/

It looks like the card should have similar power consumption as a GTX580 as it is not pre-overclocked.

Nice. If I can sell my 275, wouldn't it make more sense going for a higher card than £200, maybe spend about £280?

    Re: Upgrade from GTX275?

If your going to budget £280 just go for a full fat 6970

    MSI 6970 £284:03

I know some people hate xfx but I have one of these and it unlocks and is flawless

    XFX HD 6950 £198:93

Alternativly the 570 is now within your reach

    MSI 1280MB GeForce GTX 570 OC £262:68
