GTX 590 and PSU advice

I wondered if you could advise on graphics cards please



I have an overclocked core i7 4.2mhz, and a gtx 580 running on a corsair tx 650 psu, they run fine.



If i purchased a new GTX 590 card would i be able to run it on my corsair tx 650 psu? i have read that they require a 700 psu but that also a corsair tx 650 would still be ok because its quite a good psu?



I was also not sure of whether i should maybe go GTX 580 SLI with a 950 PSU instead, but would i see more performance with 1 GTX 590?

Nope. 2xGTX 580 in SLI is far far faster than 1x590

In all seriousness, 650W may cut it if you stop overclocking, but really you're moving into 800W territory with something like that.

Get a 1kw.
Not worth risking it on a 600 IMO
