I like the look of the one on the left tbh. The one on the right does have a cruel mouth though.

I have decided to go with CAT'S MSI HD 6850 CYCLONE
Generally speaking, you could have problems with either Nvidia or AMD chips on any number of their board partners products. It is frustrating though when you spend a good chunk of money on a card and have it go wrong. I had a bad experience once with a PowerColor Radeon 9800Pro.
Can't say I've owned a PowerColor card since, but on the same token I can't see me refusing to have another if they were offering a product at the right price in comparison to the other vendors.
MSI are the Company that have come a long way in previous years with their progress on aftermarket choice and quality for me. The photo in a previous post has had no impact on this statement.
I "pre-ordered" it. God knows when SCAN will have it in stock. grrrr
This MSI HD6870 1GB is under £150:

Why no love for XFX? When I bought my 88GT a few years back it was all about XFX, EVGA and BFG to a lesser extent.
Cleavage is like the sun...Quick glances.
XFX are probably one of the worst, they had a ridiculous policy with Scan a little while back whereby Scan would test graphics cards, find them to be obviously faulty, but XFX would then test the cards themselves, and sometimes find them to be functioning correctly.
So not only was there a huge delay, some people had clearly broken cards which then stalled, until Scan sorted it out and rejigged the system.
I still buy XFX cards because they're nearly always the cheapest, but I would never describe them as good.

Both my HD5850 and HD5670 are made by XFX but they were second hand.
Scan has now shipped my card and I am expecting it tomorrow. Ah, sweeeeeeeeet!
MSI OC Cyclone HD 6850 is the best HD 6850 in terms of silence and aftermarket cooling. SCAN also showing this as in stock.

I like my sapphire xtreme HD 5850 with the 8.25" PCB really quiet as well. Hope it lasts me a good few years!
