What card to play Shogun total war 2 at 1920 x 1200 ?

Just wondering as looking to build a smal PC to play this game :). Want to play on hi specs

GTX 560TI or a Radeon 6950?

Can't say that I've seen any benchmarks for Shogun 2 yet, however SCAN are giving it away free with a purchase of Radeon 6870 cards, so I would imagine one of those at £150 would run it perfectly fine. As above, a 560Ti or 6950 if you want to make sure by throwing more power at it.

Shogun 2 struggles on a single 6950 with eveerything maxed out (1080p). 2 cards can run it very smoothly though, even in big battles.

I don't know a tremendous amount about it - but going back to Rome which was the last one of these I properly played, I remember them being fairly CPU intensive as well as GPU intensive, more so than alot of games. So you might want to double check where the bottleneck actually lies, (I'm sure someone has done some specific research somewhere on this game!)
