Any recommendations on card thats capable of running games like the Witcher 2 without any urgent need to upgrade for a few years ( doesnt have to be Nvidia ) ?
Also US products are an option as I have myus.com account.
thanks

The Witcher 2 is more CPU limited than GPU (weird, but true). Any recent gaming card with a 1GB framebuffer should be able to run it more or less max if you have the CPU power. That's unusual though, so I'd recommend something like an ATI 5870 or nVidia 560 for a lasting a good few years. If you have a particularly high resolution or want even better frame rates then going up to a 6950 or 570 would be a possibility.
Do you have an idea of budget?
The nvidia 560 and ATI 6870 and 5870 are all possible to find under £150.
Well i was suprised it only needed 2 gb memory ( if thats what you mean )
My pc can handle that - just
I need to build or buy a new one anyway but I wasnted to sort of find a way i could use it in the meantime i.e. im not that deseprate to play games but i need a card for a new pc .
I see gtx 460 ata good price , if thats any good.

the gtx460 1gb (not SE version) is good but the cost of the gtx560, which is better has come down a lot, it's only £10-15 more now.
