    Unhappy Dual Monitor Issues

Hi guys, need a little help here
    i have a HP Pavilion Slimline S5560f
the display adapter is ATI Radeon HD 5450
i have my main display plugged into the HDMI port via VGA to HDMI adapter. there is also a VGA and a DVI port on the back of my tower. when i plug a second monitor into either of the ports nothing happens. when i have only one monitor plugged into the VGA or DVI port nothing happens. i have sent it in to HP four times, they have replaced the motherboard twice, the display adapter and video card, and the DVI port. i have switched the monitors and cables in every configuration and am only getting output from the HDMI port. every HP tech i spoke to has said that my computer should support dual monitors. i do not want to send it in to HP again, besides that they obviously cant fix the problem, im tired of not having my computer for weeks at a time. Help!

That would be the driver for your graphics card.

    Re: Dual Monitor Issues

When you say "nothing happens"......do you mean that no display automatically appears on the second display?

If so, then you probably need to go into your display settings and enable it by "extending the windows desktop"
