In The Market for a Used GPU, Prices I Should Be Looking At?

    Hiya folks,

As above, I'm looking to replace my GTX580, as its overkill, don't game as often as I use to, so it will be going but I need something to replace it in my HTPC, so am in the used market, could I have rough prices as to what the following models go for?

    HD5850
    HD5870
    HD6870
    HD6950
    GTX460
    GTX560Ti

Finally, also could you tell me how the above GPU's fare against each other, listing highest performer to lowest in the list as to so I can get a feel of whats the best value to performance GPU for me if you get my thinking.

    THANKS!

I don't know all that much, but the 560Ti and the 6950 are pretty much at equivalent levels in each manufacturers range.

There should be a wave of used Radeon 6000s for sale when the 7000s come out. Should get some pretty nice prices. Although, people who are day 1 upgraders are quite likely to have overclocked their cards and used them quite intensively...

Thanks for your advice, thought the GTX560Ti and HD6950 were on par with each other, wasn't sure though.

Waiting for the HD7000 but these seem quite away yet, any idea on timescale?

It's AMD - we have no clue

I had heard October, in time for Christmas. But then again, I've also heard January. So it's quite a hard thing to bet on
