    Graphics card help

    Hi,

I am looking to get a new card prefereably a 570GTX...

    Ive been looking at

    http://www.scan.co.uk/products/1280m...r-1540mhz-plus

    or

    http://www.scan.co.uk/products/1280m...80-cores-plusf

    or

    http://www.scan.co.uk/products/1280m...-dp-hdmi-plusf

My pal says I should look for a higher Vram, but I only have a 28inch monitor at 1920 x1200..I want to play BF3, MW3 at this res, full maxed out..

    Thanks

    Re: Graphics card help

Have a look at these benchmarks for an indication of expected performance: http://www.techspot.com/review/458-b...3-performance/

As long as you pair the GTX570 with a recent quad core you should be able to play BF3 at high settings with ease. Ultra settings might be achievable but I don't like playing games with a minimum FPS below 50.

I'd favour the Gigabyte graphics card because I've owned two of their cards and I like their cooler.
